The Most Radicalist say some words about Lay Llamas single Holy Worms

They say:

LAY LLAMAS – HOLY WORMS
After being reeled in by Lay Llamas’ first new track in 4 years ‘Silver Sun’, we were pleased to discover the follow up is just as good if not better. ‘Holy Worms’ is an intoxicating fusion of psychedelia and world music, driven by a simple but funky sliding guitar lick, roomy drums and a jumping bass line. Channelling Goat’s more relaxed moments, singer Nicola Sanguin's shamanic vocals call out repetitively from the exotic background. With those all important bongos and unexpected Broadcast-esque synthesizer interludes, keeping you on your toes, ‘Holy Worms’ is an exciting new take on a genre attempted by many but only done justice by a few. Lay Llamas new album Thuban comes out via Rocket Recordings on the 15th of June. -Holly Mullineaux
