Collective Zine reviews PETBRICK - I
They say:
A strange and savage pairing here, which pits Iggor Cavalera (Sepultura, Mixhell) against Wayne Adams (Big Lad, Death Pedals). While the pair might seem like an odd match on paper the results are mind-flayingly cogent, combining huge, subhuman beats with white-hot blasts of electronic mayhem. Heavy metal, industrial, noise, techno and Warp-damaged electronica are all thrown into the mix, along with vocal contributions from the likes of Dylan Walker (Full Of Hell), Laima Leyton (Mixhell) and Dwid (Integ, obviously, but perhaps more tellingly in this instance Psywarfare). While the ensuing chaos could easily have sounded haphazard there's a strong and convincing throughline to be found, the record hanging together brilliantly whether the duo are peeling skin from your face, smothering you with fizzling ambience or goading you to dance until you sweat your last drop of miserable life blissfully away....

Members of Teeth of the Sea to play ay special The Quietus fundraiser event
2019 has been another hectic and strange year for The Quietus, with our ability to celebrate new music hampered by ongoing struggles with social media eating all the ad revenue. Many of you have donated to keep us going, and for that we thank you. We're also now announcing our Christmas party fundraising do, which takes place on 4th December (yes that's next week) at The Social in London. We've put together a ridiculous one-off supergroup for the event called... drum roll... Sly and The 77 Snapped HARRGA Teeth Of The UKAEA!
Featuring...
Paddy Austin (Snapped Ankles)
Dali de St Paul (HARRGA)
Matt Cargill (Sly And The Family Drone)
Mike Bourne (Teeth Of The Sea)
Sam Barton (Teeth Of The Sea)
James Allsopp (Nostalgia 77)
Dan Jones (UKAEA)

NARC reviews Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs live at Brave Exhibitions
They say:
...Tonight however was always going to belong to Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, and this is a suitably assured and confident homecoming in front of a sold out Cluny crowd: they may be an unlikely success story, but their amalgamation of doom metal bona fides with a rare melodic sensibility (plus some outstanding showmanship from frontman Matthew Baty) could be a world conquering combination....
